The Nigerian Institute of Management Visited UAT
Executive officers of the Nigerian Institute of Management Chartered, Sagbama branch visited the University on Tuesday, 15th June, 2021. The team was led by the Chairman, Mr. Ebibowei Aro, accompanied by Mr. Perez F. Lakemfa, Dr. (Mrs.) Wariowei R.E. and Ms. Veronica Ebifegha.
The visit was aimed at fashioning out ways of having the Institute’s presence at Toru-Orua, with the provision of a start-up space within the University’s premises. This will be beneficial to the University community, Youth Corp members and security personnel through collaborative training sessions. The requirements for the proposed take-off are: a minimum of 100 intending members, 3 meetings and the minutes, these are to accompany an application for inauguration of the chapter.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Admin), Prof. Iwekumo E. Agbozu, on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kingston Nyamapfene, welcomed the visitors and assured them of the University’s openness to partnerships and collaborations from the government and the private sector. He promised to discuss their request with the Vice Chancellor and that in no distant time, there might be a chapter of the Institute at Toru-Orua.
