UAT Produces 1st Professor and Associate Professor

The Governing Council of University of Africa Toru-Orua, Bayelsa State yesterday approved the promotion of two academics to the professorial cadre.

The first newly-minted Professor is Jackson Akpojaro, Director Academic Planning and HeaD, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, who is also the Chairman, Central Examination/Time Table Committee is the first professor produced by the six year-old University of Africa Toru-Orua, Bayelsa State.

Dr. Rotimi Olajide, who is the Director, SIWES and Head, Department of Animal Production and Health, as well as Acting Director, UAT Farms Ltd, is the first newly-minted Associate Professor by UAT.
