The Board
i. The Board of the School is composed of the following officers of the University:The Vice Chancellor as Chairman, the other members is Deputy Vice Chancellor (Admin.), Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), Registrar, Bursar, University Librarian, Director, School of Continuing Education, Representative of Council, Dean, Postgraduate School, Dean of Servicing Faculties, Dean of Student Affairs, Director, Institute of Education, two Representatives of Senate, Director, Academic Planning and the Administrative Secretary as secretary.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND PROGRAMME DURATION
i. To quality tor admission into the above programmes candidate must: (SSCE) subjects including English and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings, from nationally recognised examination bodies ike WAEC and NECO
ii. Meet the department-based requirements for the relevant subject combination for the intended course of study.
The duration of the programme is five (5) years, with a minimum of five academic sessions; a minimum of 10 semesters, and a maximum of 14 semesters
MODE OF APPLICATION
Candidates are expected to visit the university portal (https://my.uat.edu.ng/iceportal) for online Application
ADMISSION PROCESSING STEPS
1. Purchase the admission Application Form at the Sum of Twenty-Five Thousand Naira only (N25,000) by visiting the UAT portal at https://my.uat.edu.ng
2. Locate and click on the institute for continuing Education (ICE) and Log into the ICE portal
3. Enter your First name, Last Name, Email Address, Phone Number and programme.
4. Click the submit button, the summary of the data entered will display at the top, then click to make payment for the application. Upon successful payment, the system wil display your application ID and Password that you will use in completing the application.
5. Complete your personal data, O'Level result data (WAEC or NECO), parent details
6. Ensure to complete the online form correctly, print out the form and submit same to the ICE office nearest to you at the University Liaison Office, Old Secretariat Complex, Yenagoa, or at the Main Campus, Toru-Orua
7. Make all payments online using your ATM card.
NOTE THAT:
i. The admission application form fee is NOT REFUNDABLE.
ii. Having satisfied the requirements for admission, and become successful, you are required to visit the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) through its website to complete the online form.
iii. Admission portal of the University opens for applications and upload of documents on 31ST DECEMBER, 2024, and closes 15TH APRIL, 2025.
v. B.Sc. Biochemistry/Microbiology programmes are exclusively for the main campus at Toru-Orua
MODE OF PROGRAMME
There are two modes for the Part-Time programmes.
THE FIRST OPTION
The Weekend Mode. The lectures hold as follows:
Lecture Days:
Fri - 2:30pm - 6pm || Sat. - 9am - 4pm
Lecture Venue:
Community Comprehensive Secondary School, Biogbolo/ Yenezue-gene, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State
THE SECOND OPTION
The Evening Mode. The lectures hold as follows:
Days: Tuesdays- Thursdays 3pm - 6pm
Lecture Venue: Main Campus at Toru-Orua
