The Postgraduate School of the University of Africa, Toru-Orua is making its debut admission into various programmes as stated below to train postgraduate persons for the civil service, higher institutions, and research. This is to give opportunities to Nigerians and other people across the world to achieve their dreams of a postgraduate experience to be able to contribute more meaningfully into their chosen careers.
The PG School, thus, heartily welcomes interested and qualified persons for admission into our Postgraduate Diplomas (PGD), Master in Business (MBA), Arts (MA), Education (MEd), and Science (MSc). Qualified persons are also welcome to apply into the various specialities of our Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes.
The PG School runs both the Full and Part-Time programmes:
(1) PGD: Full-Time: Minimum of Two and a Maximum of Four Semesters; Part-Time: Minimum of Four and a Maximum of Six Semesters.
(3) MA/MEd/MSc: Full-Time Minimum of Three and a Maximum of Six semesters; and Part-Time, Minimum of Four and a Maximum of Eight Semesters.
(4) PhD: Minimum of Four and a Maximum of Ten Semesters, Part-Time for a Minimum of Six and a Maximum of Fourteen Semesters.

1. Department of Theatre and Film Studies: Directing, Playwriting, Theatre in Education, Theatre and Cultural Administration, Media Arts Studies, Theatre Technology, Theatre Tourism, Film Studies, Acting, Theatre History, Dramatic Theory and Criticism, Sociology of Drama, Public Relations, Dance/Choreography, Musicology/Theatrical Musicology, African Musicology/Music Performance, Theatre for Development, and Costumes/Make-Up
2. Department of Educational Management: Educational Administration and Planning, Economics of Education, and Administration of Higher Education, and Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
3. Department of Chemical Sciences:Nutrition & Toxicology, Environmental Biochemistry, Medical Biochemistry, Brewery Technology, Molecular Biology, and Molecular/Medicinal Phytochemistry, etc.
4. Department of Biological Sciences: Genetics and Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, Ecology, Anatomy, Mycology/Plant Pathology, and Phytomedicine /Ethnomedicine, Ecology and Environmental Biology, Entomology/Pest Management, Fisheries and Hydrobiology, Microbial Biotechnology, Medical /Pathogenic Microbiology, Environmental Microbiology, Food/Industrial Microbiology, etc.
5. Department of Computer and Mathematics: Computer Science Theory/Foundation of Computer Science, Computer Systems, Software Engineering, Database Systems/Data Engineering, Computer Communications and Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Forensics, Human Computer Interactions
6. Department of Accounting: Accounting and Forensic Audit, Financial Accounting and Sustainability Reporting, Accounting and Taxation, etc.
7. Department of Business Administration: MBA with Options in: Accounting, Banking and Finance, Human Resource Management, Industrial Management, Marketing, Technology Management, Agric Business, Project Management, International Business, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, Organisational Behaviour, Hospitality Management, Health Management, etc.; MSc & PhD: with specialties in: Business Policy and Strategy, Human Resource Management, Organusational Bahaviour, etc.
8. Department of Mass Communication: Digital Journalism, Development Communication, Public Relations and Advertising, Media Studies, and Broadcasting and Production, etc.
